Manchester United have been told that they can get the forward far less that they expected and are set to make a bid this summer

Manchester United have been given the clear to sign Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo according to reports.

The current Ballon d'Or holder has been in faltering form of late and reports suggest that the former Manchester United fan favourite is unhappy at the Spanish and could be tempted to a return to England.

According to UK Metro, Manchester United have been told that they can get the Ronaldo for £65million.

United according to the report have been backing out of resigning Ronaldo because of the huge financial implication but is now set to be back in for the star after the new ddevelopment.

Ronaldo’s wages would be in excess of £270,000-a-week, but the reduced figure would make that easy to afford.
