Could We See Alex Rins in Formula 3?

Alex Rins has revealed that the Dakar Rally, and even Formula 3, are potential avenues for him to explore after his MotoGP career concludes.

While his departure from the motorcycle world championship has been confirmed, the Spanish rider has yet to officially announce his future racing plans. The former Suzuki and Honda race winner stated he would be stepping away from two-wheeled competition but hinted at a project involving cars.

"Nothing is finalized yet. For sure… I can't just stay at home! Cars, four-wheeled racing, have always sparked something in me. I've always trained at home, in the snow," the Spaniard commented ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix. "There's a possibility, yes. Just as there's a possibility to get into a Formula 3 car… Nothing is certain in either case – on track, on gravel, in Dakar, or anywhere else," he added.
