Nübel spent the past three seasons on loan at VfB Stuttgart. His tenure at Bayern is definitively ending after six years, despite him only making four competitive appearances for the Munich club. Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl, informed his agent several weeks ago that he would not be required to report for the start of the team's summer preparations.

He joined Bayern in 2020 as a free agent from Schalke 04. From 2021 to 2023, he was on loan at French club AS Monaco, as reported by dpa.

Besiktas will play a friendly match in Trnava against Spartak on July 14.
