Annual beach soccer event kicks off December 11

Ivorian player, K. Daniel was voted Most Valuable player of the 2014 Copa Lagos beach soccer championship and also won the highest goal scorer award.

COPA Lagos which will hold at the Eko Atlantic City, will start with a Grand Reception and end with an After Party.

The organisers, Kinetic Sports have promised fans that they will experience a unique and exclusive beach lifestyle including, a fashion show and celebrity entertainment at this year edition.

This year’s edition also has the 2016 COPA Lagos Fashion Show event which ‘go beyond simply showcasing beach friendly designs to actively proposing a Copa lifestyle’.

“COPA Lagos is not just about soccer,” Samson Adamu, the Managing Director of COPA Lagos said in a statement.

“It’s a family event where we expect our guests to have a fun-filled experience on the beach.

“We are proud to say this year’s edition of the tournament will be more exciting than the previous ones as we have diversified our scope beyond beach soccer games. We have an excellent line-up of events that will showcase Lagos as a great tourism and beach destination.”

Switzerland will be the international team for the 2016 COPA Lagos.
