Como president Mirwan Suwarso has reportedly contacted Inter Milan's management to assure them his club will not pursue Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah if the Italian champions decide to make a move for the player, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The London club has already rejected a €25 million offer from Como for the central defender. Meanwhile, Inter is still deliberating whether to make an approach for Chalobah. To maintain good relations between the two clubs, Suwarso informed his counterparts at the Milan giants that, for now, the 'Lakers' will not submit a new bid for the English international, who is currently at the 2026 World Cup. However, this stance could change if the 'Nerazzurri' withdraw their interest. Another transfer target for Cesc Fàbregas's side in that position is Davinson Sánchez from Galatasaray.
In other news, Como is set to strengthen its full-back options further, following the signing of Kaiky from Cruzeiro last week. The club is targeting Yan Couto from Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal with a €20 million option to buy. Conversely, the club might part ways with its current right-back, Mërgim Vojvoda, who is attracting interest from Cagliari, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio.
