Former teammate reveals final moments of late Kano Pillars defender

Kano Pillars played Enyimba international at the Sani Abacha stadium, in a matchday 9 Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) fixture, where Udoji was named man of the match.

The game ended in a 1 – 1 draw and Udoji who played for Enyimba International from 2009 till 2016 spent some time with his former teammates.

According to a report on , Ifeanyi who was Udoji’s former teammate revealed how he spent his final moments.

He said, "I can't explain it, Udoji called me dat he is coming to see me n d team, moments after d match... "We went n eat together in his car then he brought me back to our hotel... He gave me d tins he brought for me ... "And he told me, he is going to see our doctor....i showed him d doctors room...."

Ifeanyi went on to reveal that was the last time he will see Udoji before the unfortunate accident.

"And entered my room n slept off by den it was 9:38pm.. Little did I know it was my last time of seeing n being with my brother....life is not fair.... Rest on bro... Chinedu Udoji... May God accept your peaceful soul.... Amen.... Lesson to everyone that is still breathing, we don't own our lives..d time is short.”  Ifeanyi said

Ifeanyi also revealed that the late Udoji is survived by his parents, and that he has a wife have two children.
