Chelsea vs. Man City: Lineups Announced

Chelsea hosts Manchester City in a crucial clash for both teams as the season draws to a close. The "Citizens" desperately need a victory after two consecutive draws in the league. A win would put them just six points behind leaders Arsenal, with a game in hand and a direct encounter between the two sides still to come. For their part, the "Blues" also require a win to not only return to winning ways after two straight defeats but also to reignite their challenge for a Champions League spot.

Chelsea manager Liam Rossinier makes only two somewhat surprising changes to his squad from the one that secured an impressive FA Cup victory against Port Vale. Marc Cucurella returns to his left-back position, while Jorrel Hato moves to the center alongside Wesley Fofana. Moises Caicedo will partner Andrey Santos in midfield, with Romeo Lavia dropping to the bench. Lavia will, however, wear the captain's armband.

Manchester City boss Josep Guardiola fields the same starting eleven that dismantled Liverpool. The only change for the "Citizens" is the return of Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal, replacing James Trafford. John Stones, who has resumed training, is once again not included in the squad.
