Super Eagles thrash Niger 4 - 1

The Super Eagles of Nigeria thrashed Niger 4-1 to win their first Group C game of the ongoing African Nations Championship in Rwanda.A second half goal by  Osas Okoro and a hat trick from Chisom Chikatara gave the Super Eagles home based players the win over their counterparts from Niger.

Chikatara sealed victory by grabbing his treble. His first came in the 73th minute, before completing his hat trick with a goal in the 80th minute and another in the second minute of injury time.

Niger got their consolation goal in the 79th minute.
