Precum is a liquid released from the penis during arousal. It is clear, colourless and comes from the urethra. It is similar to semen, but the presence of sperm in the fluid is much lower.

Can I get pregnant from it? The short answer is yes. The amount of sperm in precum might be lower, but it’s not zero. And as we all know, the only way to be 100% certain of not getting pregnant is to avoid any sperm entering your vagina.
You can also catch an STI from precum? Any STI which is passed through semen can also be passed on from precum. Plus there are plenty of STIs which aren’t transmitted through the semen itself, so if you and your sexual partner haven’t been tested then you should use a condom.
So unless you’re using another form of birth control and you’ve been tested for STI’s, you should use a condom from the beginning of sex to the end that's if you don't want to get pregnant.
