Cameroon’s Movie Light, Eka Christa Shoots Second Short Film

Her ideas change like her hair styles. <strong>Eka Christa</strong> is best known for her exceptional role in the film “Not My Will” in 2006 but has since stepped up her game with her own productions.

“I always live to be different and make good movies,” Eka told D’CODED.

Eka is presently shooting a short film titled, “If Na You” which shines on the power of women. The movie is about a man who mistreats his pregnant wife and one day wakes up to find out he is the one pregnant and gets to live as a “pregnant man” for one day!

Eka’s previous short film, “Door mat” in 2010 introduced her as a strong force to reckon with in the Cameroon movie industry, and with this new film, Eka hopes for an AMAA nomination and even greater opportunities in the future.
