Suleiman AbdulRahaman Kawu Sumaila was appointed as the Senior Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives) on Thursday, August 27, 2015.

The famous ‘gate jumper’ in the November 20, 2014 National Assembly crisis has been appointed as the Senior Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives).

Suleiman AbdulRahaman Kawu Sumaila was appointed on Thursday, August 27, 2015.

He became infamous after pictures of him with his shirt open surfaced online after the gate jumping incident.

Sumaila and other reps resorted to scaling the gate after they were refused entry into the National Assembly complex in a bid to keep then speaker, Aminu Tambuwal out of the premises.
