Brighton Winger Latest to Be Linked with Salah Replacement Role at Liverpool

Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh is reportedly the latest player on Liverpool's radar as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah. The 21-year-old Gambian was signed by Newcastle for £33 million, but according to the "Daily Mail," the Seagulls would demand at least double that amount to part ways with him. Arne Slot is well aware of his qualities, having worked with him during his loan spell at Feyenoord.

However, Minteh is just one option. The "Daily Mail" suggests that Liverpool is currently most actively pursuing RB Leipzig's highly-rated talent, Jan Diomande, for whom the German club is demanding €100 million.

Yesterday, reports emerged that another Bundesliga player, Hoffenheim's 20-year-old winger Bazoumana Touré, is also on the Merseyside club's shortlist. The ultimate target remains Bayern Munich star Michael Olise, but such a transfer would be exceptionally difficult to finalize.
