The Brazilian striker, who has found the back of the net in every pre-season fixture for the Bees, opened his account just before halftime, converting a pass from Kevin Schade. He later added Brentford's sixth goal, coolly finishing from a tight angle after a powerful run.

Schade had already put Brentford ahead in the second minute, while summer signing Mamadou Sangare marked his home debut with a brilliant volley in the 12th minute, chesting the ball down and striking it ruthlessly.

Dango Ouattara extended the lead to 4-0 seven minutes into the second half, firing into the near post following a pass from Michael Kayode.

Keane Lewis-Potter added a fifth with a curling shot before Thiago scored his second and then assisted Schade for his second goal of the match, all within a two-minute span. The 25-year-old striker found space and teed up his German teammate, who made no mistake to cap off an impressive performance.

The former Ludogorets player scored 26 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions for the Bees last season, earning him a call-up to the Brazilian national team for this summer's World Cup. However, he started only one match, and Brazil's campaign ended disappointingly with a loss to Norway in the round of 16.

Brentford kicks off their Premier League campaign at home against Tottenham on Saturday, August 22nd (7:30 PM Bulgarian time).
