Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana will fight for the second time in September, the unbeaten welterweight has confirmed.

The pair met in Las Vegas in May, with the American overcoming a stern test from his Argentine opponent before winning on points.

Following his victory, Mayweather expressed his intention to offer Maidana a rematch.
And he has now confirmed they will meet on September 13.
"We're still doing record-breaking numbers on pay-per-view," said Mayweather.
"On September 13th, (it is) back to business: Marcos Maidana - Floyd Mayweather part two.

"Then in May - I'm fighting in May - I'm going to have a big surprise for you. Everybody tune in."
The fight in May that Mayweather hints at could well be a long-awaited clash with Amir Khan.
Khan declared himself "very disappointed" following Mayweather's decision to fight Maidana rather than him in May.
