Borussia Dortmund managing director Lars Ricken has confirmed that the German club is monitoring Jadon Sancho's situation.
"We are currently looking at many players and analyzing them. We are checking if they can make us better. We are doing the same with Jadon," Ricken commented when questioned by the local newspaper "Bild."
The 26-year-old Sancho could potentially don the Borussia jersey for a third time in his career, but to do so, he would likely need to accept a significant reduction from his current weekly salary of £300,000.
The English winger played for the Dortmund squad from 2017 to 2021 and again for several months in 2024, during a loan spell from Manchester United. He is currently on loan at Aston Villa, but will become a free agent on June 30th, as both his loan agreement and his contract with the "Red Devils" are set to expire then.
