According to the commander of the joint forces Cameroon, Bouba Dobekreo, the arrests were made during a three-day operation launched on the area known to be one of the strongholds of the terrorists.
AP reports that the governor of Cameroon's Far North province, Midjiyawa Bakari, has directed the military to move all displaced people to the Minawao refugee camp in northern Cameroon, so that they can be better tracked.
