Mikel Arteta was reportedly furious and displayed significant signs of concern for his future following Arsenal's defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League, according to a body language expert.

After the 2-1 loss at the Emirates on Saturday (11/4), the Gunners have now suffered three defeats in their last four matches, having also been knocked out of both domestic cup competitions.

This sharp decline in recent weeks has raised questions about Arteta's ability to lead Arsenal to a league title, as well as his long-term future at the club's helm.

According to body language expert Darren Stanton, the Spanish manager is fully aware of the situation and knows he risks dismissal if he fails to turn things around.

"We saw him express moments of genuine anger," Stanton told "OLBG," analyzing Arteta's press conference after the Bournemouth defeat.

"However, Arteta was actually holding back. We can see the lip compression, where he wants to say things he knows he can't, so we see the effort around his lips to stop himself from letting something slip."

Stanton suggests that Arteta's body language reveals the critical nature of the coming weeks, as signs of anxiety and frustration indicate he knows his time as manager is running out.

"We observe compressed lips, an increased blink rate that has essentially doubled, and clear signs of stress and anxiety about his own situation. He feels the pressure."

"He believes he will be sacked at this rate, given the position his team was in just a few weeks ago, the money spent on players he wanted, and the signs for this are glaringly obvious."

"It's clear there's a significant internal shift in Arteta's emotions. It's as if, mentally, he's going back and forth, releasing all this stress, frustration, and anger. Arteta is giving off all the signals of someone who doesn't believe he'll be staying much longer," he added.
