Pop queen features African designer's piece in ‘Formation’ video

The pop queen who surprised the 'world' a day before Super Bowl with her latest video chose a look from the Ivorian designer as part of the costumes that made way into the video.

One of Bey's dancer chose the piece from the Ivorian fashion designer -Loza Maléombho's- Spring/Summer 2016Zaouli collection inspired by traditional masks from the northern region of Côte d’Ivoire.

The dancer paired a vibrant mask with the mix print look complete with super long big twists standing next to Queen B in the video.

Queen B is known for her love for eclectic pieces as she's been pictured in several African inspired looks and prints.
