Bernardo Silva in Real Madrid Colors: Not Everyone Gets to Play for a Club Like This
Bernardo Silva, who joined Real Madrid on a free transfer, has shared his initial impressions and ambitions at the Santiago Bernabéu. The 32-year-old midfielder signed his personal contract earlier today in a private ceremony, opting to speak exclusively with the club's media outlets.
“When you’re in this room, you truly grasp the greatness of Real Madrid. I already knew it, but here, you feel it personally,” the Portuguese international began.
“From childhood, it’s a dream to play for a club like Real Madrid. For me, it’s wonderful to be able to continue on this winning path, so I am very happy,” Bernardo Silva continued.
“I’ve played here several times before. Seeing the 15 Champions League trophies is impressive, but seeing them here is even more special. Not everyone gets to play for a club like this.”
“I’m incredibly happy to be here and will soon be playing at the Bernabéu and meeting the fans. Now it’s time to get to work, to continue winning titles, which is what this club is accustomed to,” he concluded.
