Here are the 10 cars featured in Car And Driver’s 2014 10Best cars award. These cars were tested for a full week, in the most comprehensive and focused driving in the car-evaluation.

"Editors flog a dozen cars a day on the street and the track to determine everything from turn-in fidelity to the quality of a seat latch," says Car And Driver.

Some of the cars in the list go for as high as $80,000 (about N13.1m) but Car And Driver says they are the best, value-wise.

"These are the vehicles that offer the most value, that elegantly and comprehensively fulfil their missions, and that engage their drivers in spirited conversation."

Cars that make the list are not always the newest or the trendiest, but they are the consistent overachievers – redefining excellence for the auto industry.

Guess what, five of them are below $25,000 – just about N4m. Did I just say just?
