Barkley on Jokic's Clash: "I'd Give $500 to Whoever Levels Him!"

Denver lost their third game in the first round of the playoffs against Minnesota, and Nikola Jokic completely lost his temper, practically getting into a scuffle with his rival at the end of the game.

It's rare to see Nikola Jokic openly celebrate major victories; he typically keeps his emotions in check. However, early this Sunday morning, we witnessed a different side: he doesn't take losing lightly. And he's not to be trifled with.

Jokic clashed with Minnesota player Jaden McDaniels, angered by his opponent's layup to end the game when play had already stopped and the winner was long decided.

Following the game, Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley weighed in on the incident, explaining what they would have done in Jokic's and McDaniels' shoes.

I'd go for a 360-degree windmill dunk like Vince Carter. Of course, I'd score. This is the playoffs. I'm trying to get into your head, to embarrass you in front of your family, wife, and girlfriend. I don't care about the consequences. Shaquille O'Neal

Barkley offered a different, yet equally ruthless, perspective, suggesting alternative methods.

I won't lie, I used to hit players if we were down by 20 and they tried something like that. If someone shot a three-pointer with that kind of lead, I'd say in the locker room: "Here's 500 dollars to whoever legitimately levels him." I've done it and I'm proud of it. Those are the rules of this game; you don't humiliate your opponent.
