According to the newspaper La Razón, the project envisions the construction of 150 apartments, providing a total of 300 beds. The 22-year-old World Champion, who grew up in the town before moving to La Masia from Betis' academy, intends to give back to the community where he spent his formative years and took his first steps in football.

The young star has always shown great affection for his hometown. It's worth recalling that after winning the World Cup last July, Gavi traveled to Los Palacios, alongside fellow local Fabián Ruiz, to celebrate. On that occasion, he was honored with one of the municipality's most traditional tributes: his weight in tomatoes, locally known as the bombón colorao.

Following the 1-0 victory in the World Cup final against Argentina, the player shared an emotional message on social media, reflecting on the challenges he faced, from his early days at the Jesús Navas pavilion to his more recent injuries.

“My story is one of struggling with injuries over the past few years, but thanks to my loved ones, my family, friends, and all the hard work and sacrifice made to get here, today I can say it was worth it, and I would go through it all again. I owe a lot to many people,” the Barcelona player wrote.
