Barcelona has reportedly reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe to sign goalkeeper Dominik Livaković for a fee of just €3 million, including bonuses. This news comes from Croatian outlet Indekx.hr and Catalan newspaper Sport.

However, Livaković is not expected to join Barcelona immediately. He will most likely be loaned back to Dinamo Zagreb for the current season. The plan is for the 31-year-old shot-stopper to arrive at Camp Nou next summer, serving as a backup to Joan Garcia once Wojciech Szczęsny's contract expires. There remains a possibility he could be sent to another club on loan or even join Hansi Flick's squad sooner.

The player's agent, Andy Bara, who has close ties with Barcelona, is credited with facilitating the transfer. Livaković's strong performances for Croatia at the 2026 World Cup also played a significant role in securing the move. He is a two-time medalist from the previous two World Cups and has earned 79 caps for his national team.

Fenerbahçe acquired the goalkeeper three years ago, paying approximately €6.5 million to Dinamo. Since then, Livaković has made 74 appearances for the Istanbul giants, conceding 80 goals and keeping 24 clean sheets. Last season, he was loaned out, first to Girona and then to the Croatian champions.
