Barcelona - Athletic Bilbao (Lineups)

Barcelona hosts Athletic Bilbao in a La Liga clash kicking off at 10:00 PM. This fixture is a rescheduled match from the first round, originally slated for the weekend of August 15/16.

The champions began their campaign with a dominant 5-0 away victory over Elche, but they'll need to maintain that momentum as their fierce rivals, Real Madrid, have already secured two wins.

Manager Hansi Flick has opted to start Anthony Gordon, who was a substitute in the previous encounter. The Englishman steps in for Adeyemi. Pedri also starts, while Rodri is on the bench.

Meanwhile, Athletic suffered a disappointing 1-3 home defeat to Sevilla in their opening match. This time, World Cup winners Nico Williams and Aymeric Laporte are in the starting lineup.
