Obama took to his official Twitter account to wish the United states girls good luck ahead of last-16 victory over Colombia in Edmonton.

"Good luck Team USA – make us proud out there! #OneNationOneTeam ," Obama tweeted along with a photo of him holding the United States football jersey bearing his name and number 44.

The goodluck wish from their president certainly spurred them on as the two-time FIFA Women World Cup champions claimed a 2-0 win over Colombia on Monday, June 22.
