According to multiple reports, the former minister was arrested after a thorough search of his home by the men of the EFCC.

It was further reported that Mohammed would pass Monday night , October 24, 2016 at the commission's office in Abuja.

Before now, Mohammed has been implicated in a series of alleged frauds relating to one of his sons, as well as former First Lady, Patience Jonathan.

EFCC's spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, is yet to give a statement on the arrest of Bala Mohammed.
