Prince William wants club to win the FA Cup

Second in line to the British throne, Prince William who is a known Aston Villa fan wants the midland club to win the FA Cup.

Aston Villa will this weekend, Saturday, May 30 face Arsenal in the FA Cup final in Wembly and  Prince William who will be at the game wants his club to win it.

William in an interview also suggested that his children,  George and Princess Charlotte will also support the club.

The Duke’s comments came during an interview with Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker which will be broadcast ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final between Aston Villa and holders Arsenal.

William who is the president of English football’s governing body, the Football Association also revealed that he would have to endure taunts from his brother Prince Harry and the Queen-both Arsenal fans- if the North London club win.

Ex England International also spoke on his interview with the Duke, saying: "It was fascinating to spend some time with the Duke of Cambridge and hear more about his passion for the game.

"He is genuinely excited about the Cup Final and it’s great that we can showcase his enthusiasm for Villa to the Match of the Day audience."
