Former Chelsea player splashes N6M on champagne

As his trophy-laden career is gradually winding down, it is time for former Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole to spend his money.

After having a tricky season with Roma in Italy, the former England international has been enjoying some down time for in Marbella, Spain.

The defender reportedly blew £20,000 (N6m) on bottles of champagne to be sprayed on him and his friends as they partied at the Spanish resort.

The 34-year-old was later pictured puffing on a cigarette while on a night strolling with friends.
