Arsenal, who midway through the season were considered strong favourites for the Premier League and a serious contender for the Champions League, are now at a difficult juncture. Recent performances and negative results have created a climate of doubt around the Emirates.

However, the Spanish manager appeared completely convinced of his team's ability to bounce back. He stated that both he and his players are not only ready for a strong finish but are "on fire" and firmly believe in their success.

In the Premier League, Arsenal holds a six-point lead over second-placed Manchester City, though City have a game in hand. Their upcoming clash next Sunday (19/4) is expected to be a major factor in the title race. Meanwhile, in the Champions League, the Gunners host Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday (15/4, 22:00) for the second leg of the Round of 16, holding a 1-0 advantage from the first leg in Portugal as they aim for a spot in the semi-finals.

Ahead of the match against the Portuguese side, Arteta stated:

"I feel like I'm on fire. I dream a lot, I've worked very hard to be in the position I am now. I see the beauty and the opportunity I have in front of me and I want to succeed. I have no fear at all. Purpose, passion, direction, and the belief that we will make it."
