The big news for the hosts is that Kai Havertz and Ezri Konsa have recovered from knocks sustained during the international break and are in the starting line-up. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has opted for Ben White at right-back, leaving Jurrien Timber on the bench. Myles Lewis-Skelly gets the nod ahead of Bruno Guimaraes. Christos Tzolis is sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Noni Madueke starts on the left wing in place of Eberechi Eze.

Ilia Gruev starts on the bench for Leeds. Manager Daniel Farke has named an unchanged side from the 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace prior to the break. The German tactician sticks with a back three of Nico Elvedi, Tarik Muharemovic, and James Justin ahead of birthday boy James Trafford in goal.
