Arsenal has reportedly reached an agreement with Club Brugge for the transfer of Greek international Christos Tsolis. According to The Athletic, the Gunners will pay €40 million for the 24-year-old left winger. He is set to arrive at the Emirates as a direct replacement for Leandro Trossard, who was sold to Besiktas for €18 million.
Last season, Tsolis featured in 52 matches across all competitions, boasting an impressive record of 22 goals and 29 assists. He also has 34 caps and nine goals for the Greek national team.
Tsolis's contract with Arsenal is expected to run until 2031, with an annual salary of €3 million. His transfer is separate from the potential acquisition of Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, who remains Arsenal's top target for the summer transfer window.
The Greek winger has prior Premier League experience, having joined Norwich from PAOK in 2021. However, he struggled to establish himself there and was subsequently sent out on loan to Twente and Fortuna Düsseldorf.
