Hinshwood, an England U21 international, already boasts significant Premier League experience. He has made 79 appearances for Brighton, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists. His versatility is a major asset, as he can operate in central midfield, as well as at left and right-back. This tactical flexibility is particularly appealing to Mikel Arteta, who is known for his preference for adaptable players.

Brighton has proven to be a tough negotiator in recent years and is reportedly valuing their academy product between £43 million and £51 million. The Sun newspaper reports that Manchester United has also held a long-standing interest in Hinshwood and has already inquired about his availability, planning their own bid. The player's contract with Brighton runs until June 2029, and the presence of multiple interested parties could help the Seagulls drive up the price. Manchester City is also monitoring the player's situation.

Arsenal has already spent £75 million to acquire Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle but continues to seek additional squad depth. Meanwhile, United has brought in Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos for a combined £85 million, but Michael Carrick is still looking for another central midfielder.
