Anthony Gordon has settled quickly at Barcelona, playing a key role in an attack that has been terrorising defences across Spain since the start of the season. Speaking to the club's official magazine, the England international opened up about his chemistry with teammates and what he hopes to achieve at the Camp Nou.

"The adaptation wasn't difficult because we played a similar style at Newcastle, pressing aggressively and attacking as a unit. Now, though, I'm playing alongside some of the best players in the world. I've made countless runs in behind throughout my career that went unnoticed, but now I have Pedri, who sees absolutely everything," Gordon explained.

"Eric García has helped me a lot because he speaks perfect English. I understand a bit of Spanish, but when people speak quickly, it's hard to follow the conversation. Dani Olmo has also been a massive help," he added.

His strong performances this term have yielded assists, but he is yet to find the back of the net. The former Newcastle winger is confident the goals will come: "I think I can contribute with goals as well. I haven't had that many chances so far. At every club and stage of my career, I've needed a bit of time before scoring regularly. I'm confident I'll score plenty."

Gordon also discussed his long-term ambitions with Barcelona: "I don't believe in pressure. It's something you create in your own head. The best Barca side I've ever seen was Pep Guardiola's team that won the Champions League with players like Xavi and Iniesta. I want this current team to be remembered forever."
