Mexican club ANL Tigres have pulled off two huge signings after capturing France striker Andre-Pierre Gignac and Nigerian forward Ikechukwu Uche.

Gignac who is Ligue 1's second highest scorer with 21 goals for Marseille last season, signed for Tigres on Thursday, June 18.

ANL Tigres are targeting to become the first Mexican team to win South America's Libertadores Cup (their iwn version of the UEFA Champions League) and Gignac has expressed his readiness to help the club to achieve the feat.

"I'm very happy, I've come to win the league and the Libertadores," Gignac said.

Nigerian forward, Uche has also completed his signing after undergoing a medical at the Monterry based club.

Tigres have a Libertadores Cup semi-final against Brazil's Internacional next month while the Mexican 2015/16 Apertura championship kicks off on July 25.
