Man United winger’s home attacked by gang of three

It could have been a sweet-bitter weekend on Saturday night for Angel Di Maria after the win against Leicester City at Old Trafford hours earlier.

A report on the Sun claimed that the player’s home was attacked by a gang of three while he was in-house with his family.

The gang attempted to raid at the Argentine winger’s Cheshire mansion, using scaffolding poles to smash doors, but fled when an alarm went off. They did not escape with anything.

Di Maria and his family were moved to a hotel by United’s security and the Police in his Range Rover.

Southampton’s Victor Wanyama had his home burgled last year while he was in action for the club in an EPL match. The burglars made away with his Range Rover and some other items.
