The Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun has condemned the activities of Nigerian insurgents, Boko Haram.

The governor joined several Muslims at the praying ground in Abeokuta, shortly after the Eid-el-Fitr prayer, to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
Amosun's outcry is coming hours after double explosions, suspected to have been carried out by the insurgents in Damaturu, Yobe State, occurred.
In the same vein, the Chief of Army Staff, Maj.-Gen. T. Y. Buratai, has urged Nigerians to 'stay calm and be security conscious.'

He recently said, 'No amount of terrorist act would deter our resolve to stamp out terrorism and insurgency.'
