Arsenal forward wins PFA Fans' Football of the Year

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has beat off competition from Chelsea star, Eden Hazard to win the Professional Footballers' Association's Fans' Player of the Season.

The Chilean was snapped up by Arsenal last summer from Barcelona in a £30million deal and hit the ground running with a series of Man of the Match performances.

The 26-year-old has scored 24 goals in his debut season including the brace at Wembly last month which sent Arsenal to their second consecutive FA Cup final.

Sanchez won the award ahead  of Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea and Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
