Iwobi has been struggling with a minor injury which made him miss Arsenal’s last week 2-0 win over West Brom and their 4-2 away win at Bate Borisov in the Europa League.

Ahead of their home game against Brighton and Hove Albion, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the forward is back in training and might be available for the game.
“Alex Iwobi might be available for Sunday, of course, Coquelin and Welbeck are not available,” Wenger said.
His return to training means that the 21-year-old will be fit for the Super Eagles Saturday, October 7 clash against Zambia in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Iwobi who missed out of the doubleheader against Cameroon in September has been included in Super Eagles’ 23-man squad for the game.
