My Son Was Killed, Ex-Governor Says

Ex-Bayelsa State Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha has said that his son, Oyamuyefa was killed in Dubai.

Reports had it that the 30-year-old victim, known fondly as Oyoms, committed suicide in his apartment in the commercial capital of the United Arab Emirates after his lifeless body was found by security agents on Saturday, October 11.

However, the older Alamieyeseigha is said to have stated via a text message to Leadership Newspaper that his son “was killed in Dubai.”

There have been many conflicting reports as to the details of Oyamuyefa’s death as while some say he was found in his apartment, yet others say he was found on a street.

The former governor is currently in Dubai to unravel the true circumstances behind his son’s death.
