Ade Bakare debuted his Cruise 2016 collection at the 2016 Africa Fashion Week Nigeria event which he headlined at the Eko Hotel & Suites on the 3rd July 2016 which rounded off with a gala.

The UK based designer staged  a major sultry comeback with the effortless chic collection he presented with other brands including Rois & Reine, Tiannah styling and Elegant Kids, Yomi Casual, Trisho O. Couture, Lanre Lagos, Mc Stell Fashion Gallery, Bello I. Edu, Pacciro and more brands showcased their latest collection at the fashion event.

The atmosphere was charged with excited audience cheering on their favourite designers at the event which saw a lot of dignitaries including Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Ooni of Ife's wife; Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi, current Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Senator Ita Giwa, Annie Idibia, Monalisa Chinda, Uti Nwachukwu, Bryan Okwara, Kaffy, Denrele Edun, Zaina, Emmanuel ikubese, LAX, BOJ and more were at the event.
