Académico de Viseu Announces 'Kick-Off' Event, But First, Another Trip to Spain
Académico de Viseu has announced that they will unveil their new squad to members and supporters this Thursday at 9 PM, in Praça Dom Duarte, located in the heart of Viseu.
The 'kick-off' event, as the club calls it, will feature performances and a celebration following the presentation of the players who will form the Academistas' squad, marking their return to the league after 37 years.
The Beirões promise "a night of emotion, tribute, and celebration, where the past honors the present and inspires the future."
However, before the festivities, the team embarks on another trip to Spain. After their pre-season training camp in Cádiz (Andalusia), their next destination in the neighboring country will be Vigo (Galicia), where Bruno Pinheiro's squad is scheduled to face Celta on Wednesday morning (10:00 AM).
In a demanding week with no breaks, the team departs this Tuesday afternoon for Northern Spain to prepare for the clash against last season's sixth-place finisher in La Liga, who will be competing in the Europa League this year.
