The United Kingdom based ex-goalkeeper backed the choice made by the Nigeria Football Federation after the former coach, Stephen Keshi was sent packing last Saturday, July 4, 2015.

The former Shooting Stars keeper, who was in the squad that represented Nigeria at the 1998 World Cup, waved aside tales that Oliseh lacks experience to manage at a higher level.

'The people who employed him say he has vast experience to move the country’s football forward and we should believe them. We just need to support him and hope things will work out well for him and the team,' the ex-Switzerland based keeper told The Punch.

The NFF fired Keshi, who guided the Eagles to their third Africa Cup of Nations title in South Africa in 2013, after the former Nigeria captain was linked with a move to manage African champions Ivory Coast.
