ABA League Unveils New Season Schedule: Zvezda Kicks Off with Two Away Games, Partizan Welcomes Slovenian Opponent

Just like last season, teams will be divided into two groups. Crvena zvezda Meridianbet and Partizan will not be placed in the same group, meaning we won't see the eternal derbies until the second phase of the competition. If there are no major upsets, we could then witness two.

The new regional league season is set to tip off on September 25th. In the opening round, Partizan will host Ilirija, while Crvena zvezda will travel to face Borac.

A week later, both Belgrade rivals will be on the road. Partizan will visit Mega, and Crvena zvezda will take on FMP.

The third round will feature the first major derby, as Zvezda hosts Budućnost. Meanwhile, Partizan will play host to Vienna.

The full schedule is available on the ABA League website.
