Modela does a collection of '60s Style' for Lagos @50

The designer showed off a collection attempting to tell a story of styles in the 1960s to mark the Lagos @50 celebration.

Taking on dense fit that has since become a hit in recent times, the veteran designer showed off 1960s looks in matching skirt set, dress with exaggerated bows with belted accents, drop waist dresses. Damasks also came to play for men in 'Dashiki' style, 'Aso-oke' paired with heavy beads, knitted laces and more also made the collection.

Each look was presented with hairdo and bold/eye catching over-the-top accessories from the era complete with dramatic strides, swaying to music from the '60s.
