Swaziland plots Super Eagles downfall

After defeating Djibouti 8-1 on aggregate in a 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Swaziland are already plotting the downfall of their next opponent, the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Swaziland will face Nigeria next month in the second round of the 2018 World qualifiers.

Twenty countries, who qualify from the second round, will be grouped into five groups of four teams, the champions of each group will qualify for the World Cup.

Swaziland are considered minors but believe that they can shock the Super Eagles and go to the group stage.

The Sihlangu are expected to host the Eagles in the first leg tie at the Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba at the weekend of November 9-10 with the second leg being played in Nigeria a week later.

The Swaziland FA boss Frederick Mngomezulu has revealed that they are planning a friendly game to help them prepare for the game against the Super Eagles.

“We are waiting for the coach (Harris Bulunga) to furnish with us a report – to inform us of how he wants to work going to this game,” Mngomezulu is quoted to say by the Swazi Observer on Monday.

“This is an important game and we need to step up our preparations.”
