“Glaringly, there are differences between Buhari’s budget and the ones presented by the MDAs. But we are not reducing, the figures remain in spite of the padding,” he said.

President Muhammadu Buhari recently admitted that the budget he submitted to the National Assembly was different from the one currently being debated.

The budget has been the centre of controversy since it was reported missing from the Assembly premises in January.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki later said that two different versions of the document had been submitted to the legislative house.
