Nigeria's Dream Team has been handed a tough group in the preliminary stages of the 2015 All African Games.

Samson Siasia's boys have been placed in Group B with Ghana, Egypt and Senegal in the early stages of the games which will hold in Congo Brazzaville.

Host Congo were drawn in Group A alongside Sudan, Zimbabwe and Burkina Faso in the draw ceremony which took place on Thursday, July 9 at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt.

General Secretary of CAF Hicham El Amrani was in charge of the draw and was assisted by Tarig Atta, Deputy General Secretary of the Sudan Football Association.

The football event of the Games will kick off in September 3-18.

Nigeria have only won the football event of the All African Games on home soil in 1973.

The Super Falcons will tackle host nation Congo-Brazzaville, Tanzania and Cote d’Ivoire in Group A of the Women’s Football Tournament of the 11 All-Africa Games.
