Flying Eagles set for opener with host, Senegal

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles are set for their opening match of the ongoing 2015 African U-20 Championship with host Senegal later today.

Ahead of the opener, the Fly Eagles have settled down in Dakar.

They checked into their four-star Alafifa Hotel in Dakar around 3am local time (4am Nigerian time) after a flight from Abuja via Lagos and Banjul, Gambia.

They trained at the match venue by 4.30pm local time later Thursday.

Nigeria will face host Senegal, Congo and Cote d’Ivoire in Group A of the preliminary rounds of AYC,

Host, Senegal prepared for their clash with the Flying Eagles of Nigeria with a one nil win over Zambia and South Africa, in warm up matches.
