President John Mahama will launch a National Job Summit due to the growing unemployment among the youth which is a threat to global security.

The private sector, Ghana employers Association, TUC and captains of Industry will form part of the summit.

The summit is to create a platform for both industry players and the huge number of unemployed graduates to dialogue on how to create jobs.

There are currently about 600,000 unemployed graduates in Ghana and the number is expected to increase in the coming years as universities continue to produce more.
