Generators that rule the darkness

In our beloved country, Nigeria, power is valued more than food in some cases. Electricity is scarce like rainfall in dry season. People do not fail to show their excitement when there’s power.

You see children screaming/dancing on the streets, people rushing to charge their devices, others ‘flying’ to go do a marathon ironing of their cloths at least for the next 5 working days.

Although, the power situation might have improved over the last couple of months, it is still many miles from perfection.

Here are three good reasons why an organization would always need a generator irrespectively of the level of power supply.

  • Even office-based service businesses can experience a substantial hit to revenue and productivity if they are unable to access their network or continue working during an extended power outage
  • When your competitors don’t have power, your customers are going to look for someone else to provide their needs. That could be you! Maintaining power during an outage could not only keep your existing customer base happy, but may also bring new customers
  • Ensuring that heating, air-conditioning and technology are always up and running will help your employees and customers comfortable and protected during even the worst power outages.

A generator may not seem like an obvious need for some businesses, the potential savings makes the purchase a wise investment for the long term, especially as power outages and continues to disrupt the economies
